Data protection and security for customers and users are of high priority for be.storaged. Therefore, the protection of your personal data in all our business processes is a particular concern for us. This data protection statement explains what information is collected during your visit to our website and how this information is used. However, this statement does not apply to websites of other companies that contain a link to this website of be.storaged GmbH or to which our website provides links.

The data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

If you have any concerns or requests, you can contact us through our contact form. The following data is collected by be.storaged during the contact process: salutation, first name, last name, address, email address, customer number (if applicable), and the matter of your concern. The data is processed for the purpose of handling and responding to your request. The data will be deleted depending on the nature of your request. The data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Newsletter
If you are a customer of be.storaged and have provided your email address as part of the customer relationship, it may be used by us to send newsletters. Additionally, you have the option to subscribe to the free newsletter on our website. The following data is collected during the registration process on our website:
Required fields: email address, preferred topics, date and time of registration
Voluntary information: salutation, first name, last name, postal code, date of birth, customer number
The required information is necessary for sending the newsletter. The purpose of the voluntary information can be found in the information fields during registration. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of its collection. The data processing is carried out in accordance with § 7(3) of the German Act Against Unfair Competition (UWG) for customers. For prospects, the data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You have the option to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Each newsletter contains an unsubscribe link for this purpose.

Online application
If you apply to be.storaged, we process your personal data for the purpose of handling your application. Your applicant data is only used for this purpose and in compliance with legal requirements. Your data will be treated confidentially. We only collect personal data from you that is necessary for the application process. Your data will be made available to the respective company executive of the corporate group. The following data is collected by be.storaged during your application:
Required fields: salutation, first name, last name, email address, password, postal code, phone number
Voluntary information: date of birth, address, alternative phone number, presence of severe disability, submitted application documents
Your data will be deleted no later than three months after the completion of the application process. However, you can view, edit, or delete your data and attachments (such as resume) at any time during your online application. The data controller, as defined in Art. 4 of the GDPR, is the corporate group mentioned in the respective job advertisement. In the case of unsolicited applications, the corporate group responsible for the application is the responsible entity. The data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Cookies and interest-based advertising
be.storaged uses the so-called cookie technology at certain points on the website to provide excellent customer service, convenient access to our products and services, and a broader range of features. Cookies are small text files generated by a web server and stored on your computer using your web browser.

Most of the cookies used by be.storaged are deleted at the end of the session. Some cookies remain on your computer even after the session has ended, allowing us to recognize your computer during your next visit based on the data stored in the cookie (ID cookies). Personal identification is not possible based on the information stored in the cookies. The data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Google Adwords
If you have reached our website through a Google advertisement, Google AdWords will place a cookie on your computer. This cookie expires after 30 days, and it is not possible to draw conclusions about your person based on the stored information.

We use the information from the conversion cookie to obtain statistical evaluations regarding the conversion rate. This means that we can determine how many users came to our website from a Google advertisement and triggered an order within 30 days. Bing Ads Universal Tracking
We use the Bing Ads conversion tracking of Microsoft Corporation (One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA) on our website. If you reach our website through a Microsoft Bing advertisement, a cookie will be set by Microsoft Bing Ads. Our website includes a UET tag. The UET tag is a code that stores data about the use of the website in connection with the cookie. Microsoft and we can thus determine the duration of your visit to the website, which sections of the website were accessed, and through which advertisement users reached our website. Your rights
If be.storaged processes personal data about you, we will provide you with information about the categories of data affected, the purposes of processing, any recipients or categories of recipients of the data, and the planned duration of storage upon request.

You have the right to request the correction or completion of incorrect or incomplete data.

If data processing is based on your consent, you have the right to revoke the consent at any time with effect for the future.

If data processing is based on be.storaged’s legitimate interest, you have the right to object to the processing of data for reasons arising from your particular situation (Art. 21 of the GDPR).

Transmission of data by be.storaged GmbH
be.storaged transfers your data to data processors in accordance with Art. 28 of the GDPR. Your data is processed by the data processor only within the legal framework and according to be.storaged’s instructions. be.storaged is responsible for data processing by the data processor.

For the provision of services, be.storaged may transfer your data to cooperation partners. This is done either due to legal permission or if you have given your consent.

Furthermore, we are obliged to transmit your data to authorities in certain cases.

Existence of automated decision-making
We do not use purely automated decision-making processes in accordance with Article 22 of the GDPR. If we were to use such a procedure in individual cases in the future, we would inform you separately if required by law.

Security measures
be.storaged implements extensive technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data managed by us against misuse, accidental or intentional manipulation, or unauthorized access by third parties.
