A partnership that grows with every project: be.storaged at Sungrow Utility Connect Germany 2026 in Berlin<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On October 7, 2026, the energy storage and PV industries gathered at the Spreespeicher in Berlin for Sungrow Utility Connect Germany. be.storaged was there with three colleagues. In her presentation, Corinna Petznik explained how an initial joint project with Sungrow evolved into a long-term partnership. <\/em><\/p>\n

Sungrow hosted Utility Connect Germany for the third time this year. The event focused on large-scale photovoltaic systems and battery storage, covering market developments, grid requirements, new technologies, and pioneering projects. Representing be.storaged at the event were Corinna Petznik (Supplier Manager), Kevin Hendzlik (Head of Supplier Management), and Yannik Maskow (Sales Manager C&I). <\/p>\n

Built to Last: Sungrow \u00d7 be.storaged<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a presentation titled \u201cA Partnership That Grew With Every Project,\u201d Corinna Petznik recounted our shared history from a procurement perspective. She is responsible for purchasing battery systems for our projects and is therefore the direct point of contact for Sungrow. <\/p>\n

The collaboration began in 2024 in Untersteinach, Bavaria. That\u2019s where our first utility-scale project with Sungrow was built: eight PowerTitan 1.0 containers with a capacity of approximately 20 MWh and an output of 10 MW, which have been in operation since 2025. Next came the Dirkshof project in Reu\u00dfenk\u00f6ge, North Frisia\u2014a battery storage facility located right next to a community wind farm with a shared grid connection. Here, too, there are eight containers, but equipped with PowerTitan 2.0 units, offering twice the capacity: 40 MWh with 20 MW of power output. <\/p>\n

Today, we have 13 project sites with Sungrow\u2014either completed or under construction\u2014throughout Germany, from North Frisia to Bavaria and Saxony. Together, they have a total storage capacity of more than 670 MWh. <\/p>\n

What Has Changed<\/strong><\/p>\n

Corinna showed what has happened between Untersteinach and Dirkshof. Technology has come a long way. Processes have become more efficient because requirements are now defined more clearly right from the start of a project. And what started as a single project has evolved into a collaboration with direct points of contact and streamlined communication. If something on the construction site doesn\u2019t go as planned, the teams work together to find a solution. Corinna summed it up this way: \u201cUntersteinach was a project. What we\u2019re building now is a partnership designed to last.\u201d <\/p>\n

Many good conversations<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition to the presentations and a panel discussion on grid-integrated solar and energy storage technology, there was plenty of time for discussion\u2014both during the afternoon networking session and at the group dinner that evening. Our team had many interesting conversations with partners, customers, and industry colleagues and brought new ideas back to Oldenburg. <\/p>\n
