By using renewable energies, the carbon footprint is significantly improved, making an important contribution to the energy transition. In addition, the SUN2CHARGE charging park is an important step towards sustainable mobility, which relies on an environmentally friendly infrastructure.

10 green charging stations in an island grid

The charging park with its 10 green charging stations is an example of sustainable and intelligent energy supply. The island grid that supplies the charging park with energy is able to use 100% locally generated energy. This is an important step towards a CO2-neutral future. The integrated energy management solution okean.OS ensures that energy is used optimally. Intelligent algorithms control the photovoltaic system, the battery storage and the charging stations to ensure the best possible use of the available energy.

The photovoltaic system is an important component of the island grid. It generates approximately 1,000 kWp of electricity, which is used to supply the charging stations and other facilities in the charging park. The battery storage units from INTILION, which have a capacity of 560 kWh and a power output of 560 kW, ensure that energy is stored when it is not needed and can be retrieved when needed.

Another important aspect of the island grid is the decentralized forecasting method. By predicting the energy demand, we can optimally use the photovoltaic system and thus be as independent as possible from the public grid. This is particularly important in order to save energy costs and protect the environment.

Overall, the charging park with its 10 charging stations and the island grid is an example of an intelligent and sustainable energy supply. With the decentralized forecasting method, we are able to optimally control the energy demand and thus make an important contribution to the energy transition.
